BECOME A FROG VOLUNTEER
FROG NEEDS YOU!
Looking for a way to give a little back to your community that is fun, social, and family-oriented? Join FROG (Friends of the Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt), a core group of volunteers devoted to the stewardship of the Frog Park playgrounds.
Imagine what would happen to the Frog Park playgrounds and their wooden play structures if the City of Oakland, which is understaffed and financially strapped, solely attended to their upkeep! A group of concerned volunteers, FROG, works to help maintain the playgrounds and provide input on the continued development of the Greenbelt. Without FROG, these playgrounds could fall into disrepair. We hope that today’s users of the playgrounds will become the future leaders of FROG.
Friends of the Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt (FROG) is currently seeking new volunteers to guide FROG.
To get this done, we meet monthly. Roles include:
- Treasurer

- Volunteer Coordinators (e.g., outreach to partner organizations, plan community events, recruitment)
